In this photo, HHS journalism students work on their video for the 2025 KSPA Regional journalism contest. Students have been working diligently since the beginning of December to complete their contests.

The girls basketball team is excited to see all their alumni tomorrow!! Here is a flashback to the original team that started the Lady Cubs program back in 1973. Alumni will be recognized at halftime of the girls basketball game. Tip off is at 6pm.


The Chiefs are going for a 3-peat, and we are here for it. We will have a district-wide Chiefs Spirit Week next week to prepare for the Super Bowl. Students and staff are invited to participate in the themed days or dress in Chiefs attire all week.

In our first full week back from winter break HMS students are rocking random acts of kindness!! Students were recognized this week for going above and beyond to make new students feel welcomed, having postive attitudes, and assisting in helping our school environment stay clean and tidy!! Awesome Job Cubs!! Keep up the great work!!
