HMS celebrated our Honorable Mention and Students of 1st and 2nd Quarter this morning. We also drew names for the $20.00 gift cards for Operation Orange recipients. We are incredibly proud of the growth these students have shown and the positive impact they have made within our HMS community. These recognitions are a reminder that effort, growth, and character matter 🧡

HMS students celebrated sweet winter Fastbridge success this afternoon. Students were rewarded with a Holiday drink and treat station. We are so proud of the extra effort and growth these amazing students made this winter!!
As we wrap up projects before break, our middle schoolers took a break from their normal schedule to create these coasters. Here's a sneak peek at some of the unfinished work. Students had free rein to paint something for someone they love and learned how to wrap their gifts as well.

Congratulations to The Cub yearbook staff for receiving the Award of Commendation for the 2024-2025 "Hear the Year" yearbook! This is the second highest level awarded in the All-Kansas Yearbook Critique presented by the Kansas Scholastic Press Association. The staff members all worked diligently to create a compelling yearbook design. So proud of everyone who played a part in last year's yearbook creation!

6th graders are "wrapping up" our Ancient Egyptian Unit so we ended it with making animal mummies.

Humboldt High School Esports athletes Cole Megenity, Joe Albin and Nathan Siebert won their first match of Super Smash Brothers Ultimate last night with a score of 3-0 against USD 216 Deerfield Esports. This is our first official KSHSAA Esports event! Today we will compete in Mario Kart 8 and Rocket League!

November is Kansas Reads to PreK month! This years book is Little Nitas Big Idea. Dr. Wheeler read to our classes this week and then each kid received a book to take home and share with their families.
