HMS Summer Volleyball had a great night of competition on June 4th!
Humboldt Team 1 started the evening strong, finishing 2-0. Humboldt Team 2 battlefield hatf and finished 1-1.
One of the most exciting parts of Summer volleyball is watching growth happen in real time. We have several girls trying volleyball for the very first time and the improvement they've shown after just 2 days of practice and one night of gameplay has been incredible to see.
Summer volleyball provides a valuable opportunity for athletes to gain extra reps, build confidence, develop skills, and learn the game before League play begins this fall. We are proud of the effort, attitude and teamwork our girls displayed and look forward to seeing their continued progress throughout the season!

Today, HMS proudly recognized our Students of the Semester for consistently going above and beyond within our school community. These outstanding students exemplify leadership, hard work, character, and dedication each day. One of the most meaningful parts of the celebration was hearing the personal messages written by teachers, highlighting the unique impact each student has made throughout the year.
In addition to these honors, students were also recognized for exceptional academic achievement and impressive Fastbridge growth. Celebrating student success and growth remains a priority at HMS, and we are incredibly proud of all our students for the wonderful year they’ve had.

Today HMS kicked off a brand new tradition — the Battle of the Advisorys! 🎉🏆
Students competed in Minute to Win It games throughout the day and ended the excitement with an impressive Lip Sync Battle that brought the energy and school spirit! 🎤✨After an afternoon full of teamwork, laughter, and friendly competition, Mrs. Wulf’s Advisory proudly took home the traveling trophy! 🏆👏A special thank you to our celebrity judges — Andrea Newman, Kason Siemens, and #197 from Squid Game— for helping make this new tradition such a fun and memorable event for our students! 🧡🧡

Cubs Against the Stigma hosted a powerful student panel focused on mental health awareness and support today. 💬
Students engaged in meaningful conversation around important questions like: • What are the signs a peer may be struggling, and how can we offer support?
• Why can it feel so hard to ask for help?
• What does “ending the stigma” around mental health really look like in our school community?
The feedback from participants was clear—students value open, honest conversations about mental health and want more opportunities like this to continue breaking down barriers and building understanding.
We’re proud of our students for leading the way in creating a more supportive, compassionate school environment. 💚

We are returned to normal operations. Law enforcement have investigated all claims and found everything to be secure. It appears this was a wide spread issue in our geographical area. However, we always respond to all threats quickly to ensure student safety. Thank you to our staff and law enforcement for their quick response and for our community and parents patience as we worked to ensure the environment was safe.

Our buildings are currently in a lockdown after a phone call was relayed to the police with a possible threat. We are working with local law enforcement to ensure student safety and have extra law enforcement on site. All our students are currently safe and in their classrooms.
