Two second graders wrote a persuasive letter to Halsey's Frozen Custard. They requested a new flavor called Chocolate Explosion and Halsey's created it! our entire class gave the new flavor two thumbs up!


Our 4th-quarter awards assemblies are tomorrow morning. Parents should have already been notified if your child is receiving an award.
We will also celebrate all of our students' success this year with a Glow Party in the afternoon. Students are welcome to wear neon colors or white, and bring glow sticks/accessories if they wish. Everyone will receive either a glow-in-the-dark bracelet or a necklace for the party.

Students in Mrs. Wulf's ELA class attempted to Escape the Room using challenges and clues tied to the book they completed this quarter, Escape from Mr. Lemoncello's Library. Unfortunately, they fell short on their time and needed an extension.

Last issue of The Cub Tracks is out now! It is very bittersweet as we will miss our seniors: editor-in-chief Anna and assistant editor Shelby.

Are you interested in being a part of the Pride of Humboldt Band program? We are hosting an instrumental tryout and parent meeting Monday night for anyone interested in joining our band for the next school year. We will have a meeting at 6 pm and at 7:30 pm with an instrument tryout session from 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm. Please feel free to come and go as you need. If you are unable to attend this event, please reach out to Mr. Jones at your earliest convenience.

We send a shout-out on School Communicators Day to Mr. Meadows who has worked this last year to revamp our website and communication tools! He takes pictures and helps share the great things going on in our classrooms, on the field, and behind the scenes! Thank you for your efforts Mr. Meadows!

Are you ready for an adventure? Come join the Pride of Humboldt Middle School and High School bands as we journey through a treacherous tale of Michael Finnegan, the dragon slayer.
Our concert is on Tuesday, May 13th at 6:30 PM in the HHS auditorium.

Our 2nd grade Hawaiian Market is tomorrow from 2:00-3:00 in the elementary school gym. You are invited to come support their Kindness Scholarship and buy some of the amazing items the students have been working on!

HES 5th graders got a sneak peek into middle school life today! They visited 6th-grade classrooms, toured the school, and even tried out instruments they could play in band next year. Past and present students say this spring transition day eases nerves and helps them feel more prepared for what’s ahead.

Elementary field day is Friday, May 9th. K-2 students will go to the sports complex from 8:30-11:30, and 3-5 students will go from 12:00-3:00. Students need to wear tennis shoes and dress according to the weather. Students will eat lunch at the school. Parents are welcome to come watch and support their children during the field day events.

Our final work night of the year! We are going to miss our seniors, Sophia, Anna and Shelby, so much.

Winners of the 2025 Physics Rube Goldberg Competition! Teams incorporated simple machines and displayed various types of energy to achieve this year's goal, to ring a bell (and dismiss class).
