
Happy Halloween from HHS / HHS Multimedia!

We are excited to celebrate Halloween tomorrow at HES. Students need to bring costumes to school but are NOT allowed to wear them in the morning. Weapons of any kind are not allowed. We will change into costumes around 1:00. Please see the attached picture for more details.


Chemistry students add yeast and enzymes to corn to make ethanol. Their goal was to create a formulation that will make more ethanol than the other teams within a 24 hour timeframe.

Mrs. Isbell spent the past two days with the photo imaging class, presenting on manual photography. Thank you so much, Mrs. Isbell, for your time, bringing your expertise and knowledge to share with the student photographers. We SO appreciate Mrs. Isbell and everything she has done and continues to do for the HHS Multimedia program! She is the absolute best!


Happy Halloween! Jerds celebrated Halloween last week with a party filled with snacks and games. We also watched Halloweentown. (Also, missing a couple Jerds in some of these pictures.) Thank you all for coming! We had a great time!





HMS Cub Crew's focused on learning and applying Empathy in the months of August, and September. The following students were recognized as Empathy Builders and "Life Savers" at our awards ceremony on Friday 🧡



The following HMS students recieved the Honorable Mention Award. These students worked incredibly hard first quarter and their teachers wanted them to know that they appreciate them going above and beyond!!


The HMS Building Leadership Team created new Collective Commitments this year CUBS ROAR!! The following students were recognized as students' of the quarter for standing out in those areas.Way to ROAR CUBS we're proud of you!!





Pumpkin Patches are for big kids too! HMS students enjoyed their 1st Quarter incentive day away from school and in the great outdoors yesterday! Huge shout out to Wehlage Farms for allowing us to celebrate all our first quarter success at their amazing place!! The air was fresh, their smiles were big, and the memories created will last forever.










HMS Cub Crew's are in a challenge and we're coming to you for the vote! Each crew was to design a movie themed pumpkin and have a slogan with it! WOW did they do AMAZING job!! We appreciate your votes 🧡

A group of students traveled to Labette Community College for their Health Science Day. They learned about the college's options for degrees and certifications within the health science field.





The following individuals were recognized for their participation in today's Red Ribbon 🎀 activitiy "Your Future is Key" Wear RED to support a drug free school community!!




Special thanks to seniors Brigg and Colden for helping Mrs. Phillips with hanging up the profiles in the journalism classroom. They have helped by putting up all the frames throughout the room. It is much appreciated. Thank you both so much for your help!


Photo imaging students worked on action photography today during class. They practiced taking movement photos. They danced, skipped, moved and enjoyed the fresh air!
