Scott Brady- HMS & HHS Social Studies

This will be my sixth year teaching at USD 258. I grew up in Overland Park, KS and went to Blue Valley West HS. After high school, I attended the University of Kansas. It was there I earned my degree in education in 2011. I taught one year of Elementary P.E. in Honolulu, Hawaii before moving back to Kansas. My now wife, Krista, and I then moved to Moran in 2012, where we still live today. We have added our four year old son Jayden since we were married in 2013 and our 1 year old Myles in 2017. They are the most important part of my life and they are both happy little boys that just happen to require a lot of attention.

I truly enjoy teaching both history and geography. They are both important (despite many naysayers) and I try to communicate that to the students throughout the year. In my free time I enjoy both watching and playing sports. My dedication to KU, Tiger Woods, the Royals, and the Chiefs cannot be put into words.
