I'm very active in sports. I've participated in football, baseball, weightlifting and off season, basketball, and track.

Football 
Football is my main sport. I love to play it. There is nothing like being able to knock the snot out of some one and not get into trouble for doing it. As a freshmen everyone suited up but I got to play. I played Kick off and kick off return as well as being the number 2 linebacker. I lettered as a Freshmen. I also played jv I was the offensive tackle and linebacker. The jv went 0-7 and the varsity went 7-2. This year we lost a lot of talent. We didn't have a good season. We opened the year with a win against the Yates Center Wildcats and from there it went down hill. We ended at 1-8 but the record doesn't mean anything we gained alot of experience only losing 2 starters for next year. I was the defencive player of the week 5 times and lead the team in tackling.

Baseball
I've played baseball since before I can remember. I played as a freshmen last year on the JV team. I play 3rd, 1rst, and DH.We went 6-6 and the varsity went 18-2. I didn't get to see any time on the varsity last year. This year Im playing only varsity. We're not looking good but we are young and have some good leaders so maybe we can come out of sub-state victorious.
Weightlifting
and Off Season 
The off season consits of weight lifting, running, and cardiovascular workouts. Weightlifting is now part of my life. I lift 5 days a week all through the year. In the summer we also will lift. I have seen hugh increasements in my weights. At Humboldt we do a max rep max out style. Which is when you figure the reps you did by the weight. My Bench as a freshmen starting out was 155 now its 255 and rising with max out week coming up. My squat as a freshmen was 300 and now is 410. And my hangclean as a freshmen was 125 and now is 255. I also do alot of other lifts that help smaller muscles. This past off season the football attended Blackshit Sessions. They were put on by the coaches to help farther our development to become a better athlete. By becoming faster and in better condition for the up coming season. It's been hard so far but about everyone has become better conditioned and faster.
Basketball ![]()
Last year I participated in basketball. It's not my favorite sport but I went out anyway and gave it my all. I played mainly C team which went 5-3 and a lil JV which went 10-5.
Track

In track I was a thrower. I threw the shot and discus. I never marked as a freshmen. I also ran the 2 mile. It wasn't by choice though coach made me because i missed an event. I ran it at a JV meet with John because he also missed one. I got 4 and he got 5 out of 6. James also missed an event and had to run his 2 mile at a varsity meet in Neody and got last.
