Everyone has their favorite poems, songs, store, teams, etc. So I figured, why not put all my favorite things on this web page?
My favorite:
Poem: Footprints in the Sand
Poet: Mattie Stepanek
Song: "It Happened Anyway" by Billy Gilman, or "Shades of Life/I Am" by Billy Gilman. There are a few more, but mainly these two are my absolute favorites.
Clothing Store: Maurice's or J.C. Penney's
School Subject: Math
Memory: Model U.N.
Movies: Sweet Home Alabama, A Walk to Remember, Signs, Daredevil, and Joshua.
Flower: Red Rose
Color: Blue or Purple
College Teams: Kansas State Wildcats and Duke Blue Devils. Go Duke!
NFL Team: Kansas City Chiefs.
MLB Team: Kansas City Royals.
Sport to Watch: NFL Football
Sport to Play: Soccer

One night I dreamed I was walking
Along the beach with the Lord.
Many scences form my life flashed across the sky.
In each scene I noticed footprints in the sand.
Sometimes there were two sets of footprints.
Other times there were one set of footprints.
This bothered me because I noticed that
During the low periods of my life when I was
Suffering from anguish, sorrow, or defeat,
I could see only one set of footprints,
So I said to the Lord, "You promised me,
Lord, that if I followed You,
You would walk with me always.
But I noticed that during the most trying periods
Of my life there have been only one set of prints in the sand.
Why, When I have needed You most,
You have not been there for me?"
The Lord replied,
"The times when you have seen only one set of footprints
Is when I carried you."
