The Humboldt Museum is divided into 5 exciting buildings. The first Museum building was built in 1867. More than a century ago! It was opened to the public as a museum in October of 1967. There were plenty of collectables and items from the two baseball players Walter Johnson and George Sweat, that were born and raised here. The museum is open from Memorial day through the second weekend in October. Hours are from 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Call for an appointment at 620.473.2250, 620.473.2596, or 620.473.3464.
