Friday, June 12
7 p.m Presentation “Kansas ‘Confederate’ Cherokees!” & Re-enactment of original Civil War Letter at Mt. Hope Cemetery on North side of K 224.
Saturday, June 13
10 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Re-enactments of 1861 Raid and Burning /Skits / Children’sActivities / Portrayals: Lincoln & 1st Kansas Colored Inf. Soldier / Authors / Food Vendors / Carriage Rides available @ Camp Hunter Park.
6 p.m. Film “Bloody Dawn” at HHS Auditorium
7 - 10 p.m. Civil War Dance - Enjoy learning dances of the era! At HHS "Ballroom"
Sunday, June 14
1:30 - 4 p.m. Tours conducted at Humboldt Historical Museum - 5 buildings at 2nd and Neosho
1 and 3 p.m. 12-site Civil War Bus Tour.Meet at NW corner of City Square.
10 a.m. - 5 p.m. Patrick Haire, cabinetmaker, hosts a working museum with 1800’s machinery on the west side of City Sqaure.
Humboldt, KS is located between Chanute and Iola, KS on Hwy 169, Exit 224.
