What is the best part about the Holidays?

Rusty Olson, sr.

Tiffany Culp, jr.

“My favorite part of Christmas is getting together with all my family. I pretty much like everything except shopping. All of my family gets together at my grandmother’s house and exchanges their gifts. We also have a small family dinner with my immediate family. Christmas is all about celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ.”

“My favorite part of Christmas is hanging with my family and getting presents. I like getting out of school for winter break and playing in the snow. Christmas is a fun time of year. It’s about being with family and celebrating the birth of Jesus.”

Ezra Bartlett, so.

Cheyanna Colborn, fr.

“Christmas is a special time of year because of the eating of food. My family celebrates by opening gifts in the morning. Then, we usually go out to eat. The true meaning of Christmas is to celebrate the day Jesus was born.”

“My family always goes to church on Christmas Eve, and then we come home and have a small dinner with one side of my family. Getting to see all of my relatives that live in other towns makes Christmas a special time of year.  Christmas is also about being with the ones you love.”

Prism Glynn, teacher

Lori Buchholz, board clerk

“For me, the most special part of Christmas is that everyone makes an effort to see each other. The rest of the typical traditions can be fun, but the fact that in a busy world we can still make time for the people who have made us who we are today is what is special to me.”

“On Christmas Eve my family goes to church and sets out cookies and milk for Santa before going to bed. We wake up early Christmas morning to watch the kids open presents. My favorite part of Christmas is being able to have our family all together.”
