helped them achieve their goals, and give advice to underclassmen

Will attend Pittsburg State University

What advice would you give to
underclassmen?
Don’t stress about the little things in life; you will figure out that they don’t matter in the end.
What is your favorite high school memory?
The night I was cruising around with Jake, Callie, and DMac. Callie hit me upside the head with a maglite and then almost sent me through the windshield. Needless to say we never cruised around with them again.
Who would you like to thank for your accomplishments?
My parents, Hailey and Clayton, and Mrs. Isbell for always pushing me to be the best I can be, and Mrs. Neely for laughing at me when I couldn’t sew and grounding me from the sewing machine.
What was your favorite year in high school?
My senior year because it is when I had the most fun with my classmates. It is also my favorite year because Chas gave me a promise ring.
What will you miss about high school?
I will miss newspaper class listening to Taylor Swift and seeing Mrs. Neely and Mrs. Schoendaller every day.

What advice would you give to
underclassmen?
Stick it out; try to turn in assignments on time. It’s killer, trust me.
What is your favorite high school memory?
The lunch time Rave dance crew.

My parents; they kept me motivated.
What was your favorite year in high school?
Senior year because it was my last year of high school.
What will you miss about high school?

What advice would you give to
underclassmen?
I would say to do well in school because it’s hard to get these years back.
What is your favorite high school memory?
Pranking Brad on senior trip. We told him that I broke my arm. He called everyone! Or hitting Mr. Endicott with dodge balls on a day out of school with Callie.
Who would you like to thank for your accomplishments?
My grandfather because he took time to help me pitch, and he was always there for me.
What was your favorite year in high school?
My senior year, it was fun and you could get away with a lot more! Also, our class was really fun.
What will you miss about high school? The athletics and the teachers/coaches.

Do what you came to do and get it done. Slacking off is for your senior year.
What is your favorite high school memory?
The day Erica merged the words “stop” and “quit” to “squit” as Deron would not stop bothering her.
Who would you like to thank for your accomplishments?
I’d like to thank my parents because they pushed me to perform my best.
What was your favorite year in high school?
My favorite year was my senior year because there was less drama and easy classes.
What will you miss about high school?
I’ll miss seeing my friends every day.

What advice would you give to
underclassmen? Don’t do anything that would be embarrassing or that you wouldn’t tell your parents about.
What is your favorite high school memory? Attending the Sweetheart dance with my boyfriend Travail and being able to dance with him for the first time.
Who would you like to thank for your accomplishments? I would like to thank all my teachers for helping me to get to where I am today academically.
What was your favorite year in high school? My freshman year. It was a change of pace and scenery from junior high.
What will you miss about high school? Hanging out with my friends every day.

Don’t throw a party at your house. It’s not worth it.
What is your favorite high school memory?

Coach Burk and Coach Feeback, they talked me into playing football my senior year, and now I am going to college for it.
What was your favorite year in high school?
Senior year, I am more relaxed and have easier classes.
What will you miss about high school? Seeing my friends every day. We will lose connection when we go different ways.

What advice would you give to
underclassmen?
Have fun while you’re in high school; don’t be boring and sit at home, but keep your head screwed on while your out!
What is your favorite high school memory?
My favorite memory is when Rachel and I went all the way to the mall on our senior trip to get our toes done, and on the way back to our hotel it was freezing and the wind was blowing so hard our faces were wind chapped. Rach got a blister on her just done feet from running in her flip flops. We were yelling like we were crazy hoping the cops would pick us up and give us a ride back to the hotel.
Who would you like to thank for your accomplishments?
My teachers and coaches. My parents for loving me, and my friends or showing me a good time.
What was your favorite year in high school?
My junior year because I went to all of Sam’s football games, and we had a lot of fun together!
What will you miss about high school? Everything.

underclassmen?
Stay focused and work hard. Everything pays off in the end.
What is your favorite high school memory?
My favorite memory of high school is senior trip. I got to know a lot of my classmates a lot better, and I had a really good time with everybody.
Who would you like to thank for your accomplishments?
I would thank my parents for not ever giving up and Megan Dillow for making me get involved and helping me keep on the right track.
What was your favorite year in high school?
Senior year! It was the best year I had grade-wise, and I made a lot of good decisions.
What will you miss about high school? Seeing all of my friends

What advice would you give to
underclassmen?
Start the college process early. Study hard and do not slack off. Good grades and studying pay off in the end.
What is your favorite high school memory?
When Troy and I messed around during all the physics and chemistry labs just to get Mrs. Fewins mad.
Who would you like to thank for your accomplishments?
All the teachers for pushing me to do the best I can in my school work.
What was your favorite year in high school?
Senior year, you get away with more stuff, it’s a relaxed atmosphere, and you can joke around with teachers more.
What will you miss about high school? Being with all my friends. The inside jokes with all the teachers.

Keep your grades, stay out of trouble, and make as many memories as you can.
What is your favorite high school memory?
Going to El Charro’s dressed up as random ideas.
Who would you like to thank for your accomplishments?
All the teachers for teaching me, my parents for keeping me out of trouble, and my classmates for being there to support me.
What was your favorite year in high school?
My sophomore year because I was still in sports and cheering at every game.
What will you miss about high school?
I will miss all my friends and being able to walk down the hallway and know every person I pass.

underclassmen?
Always try your best and make the best of high school because it goes by faster than you think.
What is your favorite high school memory?
Running in state track and cross country, getting all-state, and running with my sister Raquel.
Who would you like to thank for your accomplishments?
My grandpa, teachers, and coaches Carlson and Myers for pushing me to be the best I can be in school and cross country and track.
What was your favorite year in high school?
My senior year because it is the easiest and also goes by the fastest.
What will you miss about high school?
I will miss being able to hang out with most of my friends and just high school in general.

Hanging with the girls on different occasions and weekends with my friends.

My parents, because no matter what they still believed in me and pushed me toward success.
What was your favorite year in high school?
Junior year.You receive a lot more privileges, and it was just a fun year.
What will you miss about high school? Nothing, except for seeing my friends every day during the week.

Just relax and have fun with what you have left of high school.

Mr. Osborn, because he believed in me my freshman and sophomore years.
What was your favorite year in high school?
Senior year, because it will be the last year of high school.

What advice would you give to
underclassmen?
Live it up! High school may seem to last forever, but it’s over before you realize it. Stick with your sports and activities and have a blast while you can.
What is your favorite high school memory?
The dodge ball tournaments. I’m not good and my teams never won, but it was always a blast.
Who would you like to thank for your accomplishments?
My best friend Andy because without him pushing me to do my best, I wouldn’t have gotten as good of grades as I have throughout high school.
What was your favorite year in high school?
Senior, because I have two classes I actually try in, and the rest are spare time.
What will you miss about high school? Seeing my friends every day.

What advice would you give to
underclassmen?
Shut up and listen.
Who would you like to thank for your accomplishments?
My step-dad, he was always there when I needed someone to talk to or needed help with anything. He was always a friend and a parent when needed. He always influenced me to think and act for myself.
What was your favorite year in high school?
Senior year because this was the fun and laughs year.
What will you miss about high school? Seeing all my classmates and having fun.

What advice would you give underclassmen?
Make as many memories as you can; you’ll be out before you know it.
What is your favorite high school memory?
Dressing up silly and going to El Charro for Valentine’s Day with all my friends.
Who would you like to thank for your accomplishments?
My teachers for putting up with me and not giving up on me. Lol. Also my family for always being there to encourage me.
What was your favorite year in high school?
My freshmen year because I had a lot more classes with my friends, and I was excited to start high school.
What will you miss about high school?
I will miss all my friends and teachers.

What advice would you give to underclassmen?
No matter how stressful school gets, always enjoy it because all too soon you’ll have to grow up. And don’t slack off in ceramics and get a B!
What is your favorite high school memory?
My favorite memory is my prom date swap my sophomore year when I started dating Phillip.
Who would you like to thank for your accomplishments?
I would like to thank all my teachers for making school so much fun, especially Mrs. Schoendaller for putting up with my sarcasm, Mrs. Isbell for saving me from several mental break-downs, Mr. Endicott for all our hallway chats, and Mrs. Fewins for tolerating us in chemistry.
What was your favorite year in school? My senior year because our class really bonded, and we got to know each other a lot better. It’s been fun!
What will you miss about high school?
I will miss everything, especially seeing my friends every day.

What advice would you give to underclassmen?
They need to take as many required classes as they could before their senior year, even if they don’t want to.
What is your favorite high school memory?
Volleyball and softball practice, third hour Algebra I with Mariah, Tyler, Nick, Amber, Miranda, and Paul and the other times spent with them.
Who would you like to thank for your accomplishments?
I would like to thank my dad because he pushes me so hard to make sure that I’ll succeed in life.
What was your favorite year in school? My freshman year because it was a completely new experience and the friends I had back then were the best!
What will you miss about high school?
I want to say that I won’t miss anything, but I know a year from now I’ll miss it all.

Be involved in school activities, you will have more fun and more memories.
What is your favorite high school memory?
Going on the “terr” (not tour) at the Kansas Speedway, and all of the seniors making fun of Mr. Smith for the rest of the trip because of it.
Who would you like to thank for your accomplishments?
Numerous teachers from Humboldt High.
What was your favorite year in school? Senior, it has been my funnest year so far, and I get to boss underclassmen around.
What will you miss about high school?
All of my friends and maybe some teachers.

What advice would you give to underclassmen?
Just remember to be you. Your popularity in high school is irrelevant to everyone. Also, keep a smile on your face; everything always gets better.
What is your favorite high school memory?
Yuliya’s car battery dying in the middle of nowhere with me and Heather in it. Heather and I just laughed at her.
Who would you like to thank for your accomplishments?
My mother, brother, grandma, aunt, Heather, Yuliya, Kristin, and Erica. They all helped me with so much it’s crazy....yay.
What was your favorite year in school? Senior year because I’m way smarter this year than I ever was any other year. Not just with school, but with everything else, too.
What will you miss about high school? Everything, but mainly dancing around the halls for my own personal enjoyment

My favorite high school memory was being nominated for Homecoming and winning with Thad.

I would like to thank my mom for always believing in me and encouraging me to excel in everything I do.
What was your favorite year in school? My favorite year in school was my senior year. Although it went fast, it was filled with the most memories.
What will you miss about high school?
I will miss being part of a team that is so close and always fun to be around.

What advice would you give to underclassmen?
Make each year fun because it goes by fast.
What is your favorite high school memory?
Going farther in the state playoffs than any other Humboldt team has gone my junior year and winning the TVL two years in a row.
Who would you like to thank for your accomplishments?
My football coaches for pushing me to do my best and teaching me things that I can use later in life, my mom who has taught me never to quit anything that I started no matter how hard the challenge gets, and my teachers for helping me through high school.
What was your favorite year in school? My junior year because of how many records we set in football and how many league titles we won in all sports.
What will you miss about high school? Seeing all my friends every day and all the fun I had in high school.

What advice would you give to underclassmen?
Have fun with your last years because before you know it you will be thrown out in the real world.
What is your favorite memory of high school?
Being at Mr. Leonard’s birthday/retirement party was a blast and a memorable experience. It was a real honor to actually participate in it.
Who would you like to thank for your accomplishments?
I would thank all my teachers and coaches because without them I wouldn’t be here.
What was your favorite year in high school?
My favorite year would have to be my 10th grade year. That’s only because my first year in high school (freshman) was all pretty new and strange and 11th was way too hard.
What will you miss about high school?
All of it. My childhood is rapidly coming to a close; there are some things I wish I did differently.

What advice would you give to underclassmen?
I would tell all the underclassmen to just have fun. High school goes by fast so just live it up.
What is your favorite high school memory?
My favorite memory would have to be the late night Dew-pong tournament on senior trip.

I would like to thank my parents, teachers, and coaches for standing by me and teaching me everything I know.
What was your favorite year in high school?
Has to be senior year. It was easier and less stressful than all the other years.
What will you miss about high school?
I will miss being around my friends.

Always do your homework. Have fun through your high school years because they go by really fast.

FFA events, including Days on the Farm with Mr. Kerr.

I’d like to thank all my teachers.
What was your favorite year in high school?
Senior year because it was laid back.
What will you miss about high school?
It’s a lot easier than college. I’ll miss all my friends.

What advice would you give to underclassmen?
High school goes by fast, so slow down and enjoy the moments. Also, remember that it’s not always fun.
What is your favorite high school?
After the dodge ball tournament, Lenzie and I “borrowed” some dodge balls from Mrs. Middleton. We then went up and had a dodgeball game against Mr. Endicott.
Who would you like to thank for your accomplishments.?
My parents have encouraged and supported me in all that I am involved in. My mom has given me the drive and strength to do what I have done.
What was your favorite year in high school?
Freshman year because that is the year Alana and I learned that you could get grounded to your seminar. I never did learn chess.
What will you miss about high school?
All my friends and the fun teachers and staff!

I would like to thank my mom and dad because they are the ones who stood behind me 100% no matter what I did.
What was your favorite year in school? My senior year because you don’t really do any school work.

My friends because I know I won’t get to see them every day.
