Aggie Days did very well,” said Britany Sellman, jr. “I think
Aggie Days was a great and awesome experience for those participating in State
competitions. They will definitely benefit from that.”

Humboldt High School adopts a new academic improvement program,
the ZAPPED Program. ZAP stands for “Zeros Aren’t Permitted”
in which any student with a missing assignment will receive a ZAPPED referral.
If a student is zapped, he or she will serve time after school from 3:15 to
4:15 to finish late work until the student turns in a ZAPPED dismissal from
their teacher.
The program overrides all extra-curricular activities.
“We want all kids to be successful in their classes, and turning in
their work is part of being successful,” said K.B. Criss, principal.
School officials plan to make the ZAPPED Program a permanent policy.
