Class Reunion

Dear Fellow Classmates,
Congratulations, we have reached another milestone in our lives.
We have been busy planning a memorable reunion for all. One major difference is, we've decided to combine the Class of '70- celebrating their post 30th reunion, Class of '71- the big 3-0 Reunion, and the Class of '72, bring youth to celebration with their pre-30th reunion.
We will be having the reunion October 5th and 6th of 2001. On October 5th is the H.H.S. Homecoming Football game. After the game, Lori and Jim Jarred have volunteered their heated barn for a mixer.
On Saturday the 6th, a tour of the newly remodeled H.H.S. will be from 9:00-11:00 a.m. This is also Biblesta weekend, so there will be activities uptown throughout the day. Saturday evening will begin at 6:00 p.m. at the American Legion, 301 N. Evergreen, Chanute, KS. There will be a sit down dinner at 6:00 p.m. and a dance from 8:00-11:00 p.m. The evening will be filled with spontaneous activities.
Please try and make plans to attend this reunion because we are very excited about seeing each and everyone of you and catching up on your families and lives.
Enclosed you'll find a list of motels in the area. If any of you have campers, you can park them at Cindy (Purdom) and Bruce Dick farm. There are no hook ups, but indoor showers and bathroom facilities are available. Arrangements will be at each person's discretion.
Please bring any memorabilia that you may have from our good ole' days at H.H.S., as we would like to use in our decorating scheme.
Saturday evening we plan to take a snapshot of each class individually. If any of you are amateur or professional photographers and would willing to snap some pictures, we would like to hear from you. The computer class at H.H.S. has offered to include pictures and information on the reunion.
In an effort to obtain the information needed for the reunion booklets, please fill out the enclosed form, even if you are not planning to attend and RETURN IT AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
