The "Class of 1974" 30 Year Reunion will be held from Friday, October 1 - Saturday, October 2, 2004. The details are below. There is also a Class List in the form of an Excell Spreadsheet (.xls file). Click on the file to download it. You will need Microsoft Excell in order to view and print the class list. Hello HHS 1974 Classmates:

We’ve all traveled different roads these past 30 years but its time to get back together and catch up! The following is a brief outline of activities we’d like everyone to put on their calendars:

Friday, October 1, 2004
7:00 p.m. Homecoming football game. We’ll all sit together and cheer on the Cubs. Following the game, we’ll have a get-together 5 miles outside of Humboldt at the Sharp Ranch—that’s fancy talk for the machine shed on Bob Sharp’s (Jean Sharp Waters) place. We’ll have food, soda, beer, hay bales, hopefully a bonfire, and lots of laughs.

Saturday, October 2, 2004
2:00 p.m. Biblesta parade. We’ll all sit together. Is Jonah and the Whale still an entry?! After the parade, everyone is free to socialize as they wish. The high school will be open for anyone wanting to visit.
6:00 p.m. Cocktail hour at the American Legion in Chanute. Cash bar.
7:00 p.m. Dinner (and talking)
8:00 p.m. Dance (and talking)!

Cost: $15.00 per person Friday night; $20.00 per person Saturday night.

We’re set up on the HHS Alumni website at www.usd258.net/alumni/news.htm, which will be updated regularly and will eventually have info about where we are sitting at the game, a map to Sharp’s, where we are sitting at the parade, who has registered to attend, addresses, etc. We’ll also have info on how to register, where to send your check and questions we’re asking of everyone to put in an update booklet you’ll get Saturday night. If you don’t have access to a computer, just let us know and we’ll update you by letter.

Classmates, we are so looking forward to seeing you for all or part of the weekend. In the words of TV entertainer Billy Crystal, to us “you look.....maaavelous.”!
