My Story

It all starts back when I was born, February 26th, 1989. I was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma to my mom Lisa and my dad David. We lived in Oklahoma also with my brother for about 2-3 years. That is when we moved to Humboldt. My dad and mom got a divorce when i was in like 4th or 5th grade. My mom remarried a couple years later. As for my dad he doesn't think he needs to get remarried because I would scare them off. So he has been single since they got divorced. Anyways I have attended schools here since Preschool. I am 17 years old and a Senior in high school and getting that much closer to graduating. Which I am so excited!~!~!

Anyways growing up I have always wanted to be a nurse. So for 3 years I was a volunteer at Allen County Hospital and put in over 200 hours. That was fun I got to pass out trays, make pamphlets, and etc... I was going to do it again but unfortunately I didn't get the application filled out in time.

Starting in March I will start taking my CNA class and then work as a CNA while I'm trying to get my RN License. After I graduate I want to go to Parson's to work on getting my RN License, and while I'm there I'm going to take advantage of their program so I can go ahead and get my Bachelor's Degree. It's a 2+2 Program that goes through Washburn College so you can get your Bachelors instead of going where-ever. Then again I might go to Hutchinson and then transfer to KU. I'm not quite sure just yet. Hopefully in the future I will get the chance to work in a Children's Mercy. That would be so awesome.
