I play softball and soccer. This year I made the JV softball team. My Softball number is 4. I love softball!!! I have played for as long as i can remember! But that all changed 4-4-06. We were at our burlington game, i hit it and got a double, when i stole 3rd i waited for the girl to bat again so i could steal home, but when i stole home the coach didn't say "UP ,UP, UP" and the girls in the dugout and the coach were all screamin "SLIDE!!!!" I slid made it home safe but when i went to get up i couldn't there was a great pain in my ankle and it was throbbing! It felt like my heart was in my ankle! The coach and a team mate had to help me get off the field. Everytime i put weight on my ankle it would give out on me and i would almost fall. My mom rushed me to the hospitol and we took x-rays. The x-ray guy was lucky that he was cute because he nearly got hit! He kept turning my ankle with my toes!!! The results came and they said that it was a very bad sprain and torn ligaments. I'm very happy that nothing was broken!!!!

I wanted so badly to get back out there and play but I can't. My mother and doctor are forcing me to quit. I have tried to run on it and have only accomplished falling on my butt. So there goes my softball season.
