My name is Maralee and I'm a freshman at Humboldt High School.
I live in the Middle of Nowhere, Hicksville Kansas.
Better know as Humboldt, a depressed little town in southeastern Kansas.
I mean it. I think we have a population of about two or three thousand people.
No Walmart, not even a Mc Donald’s! Just small, family owned businesses
and one set of traffic lights.
Okay, so it's not that bad. On the bright side, Corner Post is just a short
walk away from school.
H&H Grill is not far from school, either, but they're hardly open.
