A modeling picture of me. It was for my pageant.

Welcome to my webpage! My name is Kristin Castle, and I'm a freshman at Humboldt High School.

I've lived in Humboldt since I was in kindergarten, except for seventh grade. I moved to Panama City Beach, Florida. School was really different down there. Everything I learned during sixth grade here in Humboldt, they were teaching there in seventh grade. That school was a year behind in education. We moved back to Kansas, in mid-April, during my seventh grade year.

I'm glad to be in highschool now. There's more privilages for me, I'm learning to drive, but I could live without all the high school drama. I'm currently in JV softball. I'm planning on doing swim team during the summer. I may try out for volleyball my sophmore year, but I'm still thinking about it. I'm really busy during the week with softball practice every day after school, so I try to free up my weekends to hang with my friends and our boyfriends.

When I do have free weekends, we all get together and go watch a movie, or just hang out around town. On my free days, when I'm just alone and bored, I'll get on the computer, phone, watch television, or work on my scrapbook.

I may take a summer job at Sonic in Iola or Chanute, if I have time. I love the feeling when you buy something, you know you earned the money for it, all by yourself.

I'm hoping to go to DisneyWorld for my 15th birthday. Chloe and I are planning a party for me. I feel so special! I'm just going to have a couple of close friends, some of my cousins, tons of music, and maybe some non-alcoholic jello shots. But, who knows, Chloe Romine is making them!

My friends and I can't wait until next year! We'll finally be sophmores! Although, one of my friends, Mindy Vincent, is moving to Emporia after school gets out. She's leaving us here in Humboldt, the buttmunch!

I plan on playing softball for my sophomore year, too. It's something to keep me busy from the gloomy days of drama high school, and boredom. I'll try my best to keep myself entertained during the next school year.

I do spend time with my family though. We'll have a family movie night, or a family game night, to just hang out and talk about how our weeks were. I know a lot of people would rather hang with friends, but I do love my family and they do so much, it's nice to spend as much time with them as I can on my busy school schedule.

That's pretty much it. I hope you enjoy the rest of my portfolio!
