The Eighth Graders receive instruction in keyboarding,
word processing, spreadsheet and database. It is a full year class.
The
students use "Mavis Beacon Teaches Typing ®" to learn keyboarding.
Using "Microsoft Office ®" the students use hands-on projects
that gives them practice using many of the functions that are available
on Word and Excel. We also use "FileMaker Pro ®" to teach
about databases. |
